LETTER: Former employee supports Don 'K'

| June 5, 2016 8:30 AM

Some have said you can tell a lot about a man by what he does when he thinks no one is watching. If that’s true, I can testify to the kind of man that Don “K” Kaltschmidt really is behind the scenes.

As a former employee of the Don “K” dealership, I was able to witness firsthand how Don values his employees. Many times, I saw him go above and beyond the call of duty to keep a good employee and work with those who may struggle with issues outside the workplace. I have seen Don’s generosity not only to our community at large, but to folks who were down on their luck through no fault of their own.

These types of investments into our workers and communities reach beyond the individuals. They are acts of generosity and benevolence that affect us all. Don is in the race for all the right reasons — not for personal gain or identity, but for the sake and service of the community he loves. This is the type of man I want representing me in Helena and just one of the many reasons why I enthusiastically support Don “K” for state Senate.
