Turn lane proposed at Lake Five junction along U.S. 2

| June 15, 2016 9:30 AM

The Montana Department of Transportation is proposing to install a left-turn lane at the intersection of U.S. 2 and Lake Five Road near West Glacier.

The department is taking public comments on the proposal, which would add an eastbound left-turn lane.

The project is tentatively scheduled for construction in summer 2017, depending on completion of all project development activities and availability of funding. No new right-of-way or utility relocations will be needed.

For more information, contact Missoula District Administrator Ed Toavs at (406) 523-5802 or Project Design Engineer Gabe Priebe at (406) 4445446.

Members of the public may submit written comments to the Department of Transportation Missoula office at P.O. Box 7039, Missoula, MT 59807-7039, or online at: www.mdt.mt.gov/mdt/comment_form.shtml
