Man pleads not guilty to stabbing
A felon with a long criminal history has denied stabbing a man at a home south of Kalispell on Dec. 28, 2015.
Robert Wayne Snide Jr., 31, pleaded not guilty on Thursday to felony assault with a weapon.
After a hearing on Thursday, bond remained at $125,500 and Snide remained jailed in Flathead County Detention Center.
Snide is accused of stabbing a 34-year-old roommate multiple times. He also has pleaded not guilty to an unrelated felony theft charge for allegedly stealing acetylene tanks and other construction gear on Nov. 29.
Snide is also being held as a fugitive from justice for not reporting to probation and parole for previous felony convictions from Michigan for larceny and operating a methamphetamine lab.
