Man charged after bar incident, police chase
A man is facing a handful of charges in Flathead District Court after allegedly throwing a tantrum at Stockman’s Bar Saturday night and leading officers on a chase.
Brandon Lee Webb, 39, was charged with felony burglary and possession of dangerous drugs plus misdemeanor resisting arrest and obstructing a peace officer.
According to court documents, Kalispell Police officers were called to the bar after Webb allegedly became disorderly in the casino and kicked a gambling machine. Webb allegedly refused to leave when asked and threw a chair into a wall. Webb also allegedly tried to assault other patrons.
Webb eventually did try to leave, but by then officers had arrived. Webb allegedly fled on foot and jumped two fences before officers were able to apprehend him.
At the station, Webb allegedly gave officers a false name. Suspected tramadol hydrochloride pills were allegedly found in his pockets and sent to the state crime lab for analysis. Tramadol hydrocholride is a pain medication.
He remained in jail on Tuesday. He is set to be arraigned before District Court Judge Robert Allison on March 10.
