Daniel Baldwin, 63

Daniel Baldwin passed away March, 4, 2016, “into a much better place to soar with the best in a universe full of light and love.”

He was our hero and the best role model to his three sons, Erik, Augustus and Chase Baldwin. He taught us the importance of giving life your all, and above all to be honest with yourself and everyone he met.

He had an avid love for and took many trips to the ocean on excursions. He was a world explorer who gained fame from his South Pacific expeditions as documented by National Geographic.

He made a career of building and repairing boats and binoculars in San Diego and most recently in Montana. He was a Scout master who led his sons into achieving Eagle Scouts.

Daniel lives on through his sons, Erik Baldwin and wife Lauren and beautiful granddaughter Waverly of Oceanside, California; son, Augustus Baldwin, of Bozeman, sister Kelly and husband Tony Mendenall, and brother Patrick, all of San Diego, and sister Janice and husband Charles DeLight and family of Sacramento, California; and many nieces and nephews.

Daniel was preceded in death by his son Chase Baldwin, and parents Clarence and Ruth Baldwin.
