BRIEFLY: Glacier grad Hashley honored by Frontier Conference

WHITEFISH — Carroll College sophomore forward Cassidy Hashley (Glacier) was named to the second team all-Frontier Conference basketball squad, as the league announced the 2015-16 Women’s All-Conference Basketball team and individual award winners after balloting by the league’s coaches.

Lewis-Clark State’s Brian Orr was selected Coach of the Year. Natalee Faupel, MSU-Northern junior forward/guard, was named the Player of the Year.

MSU-Northern sophomore guard Jacy Thompson was named Defensive Player of the Year. Montana Western junior guard Aniese Palmore was selected Newcomer of the Year.

Montana Tech guard Sammy McGree was named Freshman of the Year. Rocky Mountain freshman guard Justyn Juhl was selected the league’s Sixth Player of the Year.
