Anastasia Lynn 'Staci' Westley, 47

Anastasia Lynn “Staci” Westley passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on Friday, March 7, 2016, in Kalispell.

She was born in Tacoma, Washington, on June 12, 1968, and is survived by her husband Douglas; her son Will, his wife Lindsey, and their children Talon and Lincoln; and her parents, Roger and Lynn Ross.

Even though in a wheelchair, she never let her disability stop her and she was an inspiration to many. She earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in health information technology at Rasmussen College and donated her time to the Boy Scouts and to Southwest Center for Independent Living. She was an assistant Scout master, taught many different merit badges and held a variety other positions in Scouting. She was also a founding member of Special Needs Troop 2 in Springfield, Missouri. She will be missed dearly by family and friends.

“She is now free of pain and running around looking down on us continuing to share her smile which will be missed by family and friends.”

There will be a memorial service held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 17, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home and Crematory.
