Man denies molesting girl

A Marion man has denied sexually assaulting a young girl.

In Flathead County District Court on Thursday, Richard Harold Huffman, 66, pleaded not guilty to felony sexual assault.

According to court documents, Huffman is accused of molesting a 12-year-old on multiple occasions in 2013 and 2014. The girl allegedly told school authorities about the ongoing abuse and the adult reported it to authorities.

Huffman has been conditionally released after posting bond.

A jury trial has been tentatively set for May 31.
