Immanuel Lutheran Communities recently received one of the largest dividends ever given by the Montana State Fund.

The senior-living community organization received a $154,000 dividend check. Dividends reward and encourage safe and cost effective behavior by employers and reduce the overall cost of workers’ compensation insurance to employers.

Immanuel Lutheran Communities has been steadily improving its safety record each of the past few years and is now operating at a rate 23 percent better than the national average for accidents and injuries in patient/resident-care work.

“This dividend payment from the Montana State Fund further validates the hard work of our staff who work safely each day,” Immanual Chief Executive Officer Jason Cronk said. “Immanuel Lutheran is proud of this example of our strong commitment to the safety of all those whom we service.

“As a nonprofit organization, we will return this money to residents and employees through constantly improving services, as well as employee pay and benefits.”
