James C. Jellesed, 57

James C. Jellesed, 57, passed away in Kalispell on March 20, 2016.

James was born Sept. 17, 1958, in Anaheim, California, and was raised in Libby. He graduated from Libby High School in 1977, then enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He served five and a half years as a cook before being discharged.

He had currently worked at A2 Auto in Evergreen.

James enjoyed fishing, being with friends and family, and gambling at the Shamrock. He was also an avid Steelers fan.

James was preceded in death by his father Richard Jellesed, and little brother Ricky Jellesed.

James is survived by his mother, Jean Jellesed, of Kalispell; children, Jessica Merjil, Timothy Journot and Leticia Ware of Delta, Colorado, and Heather Scherzer-Penkauskas of Dallas; siblings, Jeff and Cindy Jellesed of Mandan, North Dakota, and Jayda Jellesed of Kalispell; seven grandchildren, Jaida and Gabriel Ware, DJ, Arek and Steph-anie Scher-zer, and TJ and Piper Journot; nieces, Danielle Teske and Mike Burgoyne, Shelby Lentz, Dena Carr, Pepper Carr, and Tori Jellesed; nephews, Cameron Carr, Cody Carr, Derrick Jellesed and Shayne Jellesed; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends.  

A celebration of life will be held later in the year.
