Van McKinley Snyder, 66

Van McKinley Snyder, 66, “went to be with the Lord” March 16, 2016.

Van was born January 19, 1950, to Curtis and Harriet Snyder in Kalispell.

He passed away peacefully under the care of hospice in a nursing home in Eugene, Oregon, where he had lived for several years because of dementia. His wish was to be cremated and his ashes spread in the ocean; this is being taken care of, and there will be no local services.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Kathy Hall, and is survived by his parents and brother Laird.
