LETTER: What will be next?
As I see all the bad news on TV and in the newspapers, I am beginning to wonder what is next.
Do I know what it will be? We have tried to protest and vote to wipe God and Christianity off the map without much luck. God is still in command and always will be. He has written down in his word, the Bible, what happens when people turn to false gods. Consider this passage from Deuteronomy 32: 36-39.
“The Lord will vindicate his people and relent concerning his servants when he sees their strength is gone and no one is left, slave or free. He will say: ‘Now where are their gods, the rock they took refuge in, the gods who ate the fat of their sacrifices and drank the wine of their drink offerings? Let them rise up to help you! Let them give you shelter! See now that I myself am he! There is no god besides me. I put to death and I bring to life, I have wounded and I will heal, and no one can deliver out of my hand.’”
Let all of us take God up on his promises. You will like them.
We as Christians celebrate the forgiving of all our sins on Resurrection Sunday.
