LETTER: Kaltschmidt for state Senate

I endorse Don “K” for state Senate. My reason for this choice can be summed up as favoring “results” over “activities.” Sometimes, it can be difficult to tell the difference between the two.

Smart, good, people fall into this trap all the time. They find themselves “busy” or outright overwhelmed, they talk and hold meetings, but often fall short of desired results or improvements. I see this in our current government.

With Don “K” Kaltschmidt, we can see the results. We can count the economic growth. We can benefit from the job creation. Don “K”’s vision, drive, energy, and execution are responsible for each of these items and more.

In closing, I am reminded of the infamous “definition of insanity” where one expects different outcomes while performing the same activities. I expect history to repeat itself. If I were a betting man, I’d bet on Don “K” to continue driving results that will benefit me and the rest of District 3 after he is elected to state Senate.
