Pansy J. Hurd, 92

Pansy J. Hurd, born Nov. 20, 1922, passed Sept. 15, 2015, at the age of 92.

She is survived by her eight children, Jack Coleman, Daisy Larson, June Kelly, David Hurd, Leslie Gregory, Ann Hurd, Sandy Booth, Frank Hurd and Emily Heil; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Pansy belonged to many clubs in Libby: Montana Institute of the Arts Writers Club and Art Club, Women’s Club, Farm Women’s and Minerva Minions Club. She also volunteered at the Libby Museum for five years.

Her husband, Leslie S. Hurd, was born Nov. 22, 1907, and passed Nov. 4, 1995, at the age of 88. She “joins him in hand” along with eight of her siblings, three stepchildren, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. July 23. Both Pansy and Les’ ashes will be spread together.
