A Kalispell woman has been charged with felony criminal endangerment after she allegedly fired a shot at a residence on U.S. 93 South on Oct. 29.

Elora Kate Peterson, 25, is wanted on a $20,000 arrest warrant.

According to court documents, Peterson’s boyfriend told investigators that he and Peterson had been arguing. The boyfriend told deputies he could hear Peterson getting angry at a neighbor’s house.

He allegedly said Peterson came into the house and retrieved his revolver, then fired the gun as she ran toward the closet.

The boyfriend said that Peterson then was apologetic, but would not let him leave the closet. Deputies collected a spent shell from the cylinder of the revolver.

Peterson will be arraigned on Nov. 10.
