Impeach IRS commissioner

| November 13, 2016 6:30 AM

It sure would be nice to have our three members of Congress from Montana explain this to us. I’m NOT holding my breath.

It has been six years since the IRS began to target conservative interest groups and individuals for harassment and intense scrutiny — at a rate of almost 10 times the scrutiny afforded liberal-leaning groups. Unconscionable.

Yet Mr. Koskinen, the IRS commissioner, has yet to be held liable for HIS policy. To read about the danger of allowing his abuse of power to go unchecked, do a Google search for “Tea Party Patriots calls on the House to impeach Koskinen before going on vacation.” Do our people in Congress support what was a major complaint in the Declaration of Independence — the sending forth of swarms of officers to harass our people and eat out their substance (steal their produce and property for the King)?

This is one reason my wife and I will continue to refuse to answer any survey questions carried by HHS and Census Bureau lackeys, and any from any other useless agency of the federal and state governments.

We have had to twice make it clear to two such stooges recently that the “no solicitors” signs on our gates include them, that “solicitation” of information is included in the ban. Federal employees are not welcome here.

We are tired of being harassed, of being forced to pay for the privilege through ever-increasing taxes to maintain otherwise pointless bureaucracies and bureaucrats, and of the laziness in Congress that passes for “action.”

To our members of Congress: Restore limited federalism. Now. I won’t say “please” because you work for us, not the other way around. And employers are not required to say it. Employees are supposed to exercise due diligence in the performance of a job.

If you support letting another Democratic HACK like Koskinen “skate” — like Hillary has for decades — then you are no friend of the republic, no friend of mine, and one who is no friend to me, might as well be my enemy.
