Glacier speech and debate takes 2nd at Missoula Classic

The Glacier High School speech and debate team took second place at the Garden City Classic in Missoula.

Glacier scored 136.5 points overall, but it wasn’t enough to catch Bozeman High School’s 157.5 final points. Flathead came in third place overall with 93 points.

It was the first competition of the year between the three Class AA schools. Class A, B and C schools were also represented.

Columbia Falls earned 45 tournament points to take first among Class A, B and C, easily besting rivals Corvallis and Loyola Sacred Heart. When also stacked against Class AA teams, Columbia Falls placed eighth overall.
