LETTER: Trouble ahead

I do not know if Americans realize it, but their country is being destroyed! It is being destroyed by powerful people in our government, including congressmen and senators, trying to influence votes on major issues. Business corporations, many of them foreign, need these votes.

I see our government trying to reduce budgets of agencies, while reducing the effectiveness of the agency at the same time. As a veteran, I know mostly about the VA. The federal government is placing people in key positions within the VA who are reducing its budget at the detriment of veterans. For example, the VA is denying benefits to veterans, even those fought for, without quoting VA regulations. It is being done mainly by the director of departments within the VA.

Employees working in various veterans organizations at Ft. Harrison, Montana, get paid by the VA, so in my opinion these employees do and say things in favor of the VA when a veteran applies for his/her hard-earned benefits. By reducing government budgets, this unlocks money for other government efforts. I believe some of this extra money will be used to bring in refugees in another effort to help to create a one world government! —Sinowa Cruz, Kalispell
