LETTER: Thoughts about Affordable Care

Found the articles about the Affordable Care Act in the Nov. 5 paper of great interest. We, the users of the system must remember it was established for our benefit, as determined by the Democatric controlled House and Senate. Also, we should remember that the Supreme Court ruled that the mandate created by the Affrordable Care Act was a tax, and as such, was a legitimate taking of the money/fees to be paid by the taxpayers/users.

If you are thinking about complaining about the program, remember what happened to Montana Sen. Max Baucus when he complained. He got sent to China, and has not been seen since. —Dale B. Heldstab, Columbia Falls
