Mountain lion harvest quota met

Mountain lion hunting will close Tuesday, Nov. 22, one half-hour after sunset, in Montana Hunting District 132 after Fish, Wildlife and Parks announced Monday the harvest quota has been met.

District 132 includes portions of Flathead and Lake counties from Columbia Falls to the southern end of Swan Lake and spans the Swan Range’s western face and portions of east Flathead Valley.

The district will re-open to mountain lions beginning Dec. 1.
