Glacier beats Sentinel in overtime shootout, 63-62
MISSOULA — Glacier football survived another shootout with Missoula Sentinel on Friday night at Washington-Grizzly Stadium, outlasting the Spartans for a 63-62 overtime victory.
Glacier’s Jackson Pepe scored three touchdowns in a wild first quarter that saw three separate return touchdowns and 35 points scored.
The game never slowed down before Sentinel converted a fourth-down heave in the final minute to set up the game-tying touchdown.
Glacier took advantage of a missed extra point kick from the Spartans in overtime, nailing its own kick for the win after a toe-tapping touchdown catch from Scout Willcut tied the game in the extra session.
