The Flathead County Election Department is now located on the second floor of the South Campus Building, 40 11th St. W., Suite 230, in Kalispell.

Election offices will not relocate to the fairgrounds for this election cycle as they have in past years, Clerk and Recorder Debbie Pierson said. All office support functions for elections are now at the South Campus Building.

However, the polling place for Kalispell precincts 1 through 6, 25, 31, 32, 37, 41 and 50 will remain at the Trade Center Building at the fairgrounds.

The main election office phone number has not been changed and general election questions can be directed to 406-758-5535.

Absentee ballots will be mailed on Oct. 14, Elections Manager Monica Eisenzimer said, and must be returned by Election Day on Nov. 8. The election office has received about 21,000 absentee ballot requests so far.

Flathead County currently has 64,808 registered voters.

Information about voter registration, absentee ballot applications and a sample ballot are available on the Election Department website at https://flathead.mt.gov/election/.
