LETTER: How did reporters miss this big story?

| October 4, 2016 11:00 AM

I think our news reporters should be taken to court, charged with inciting trouble and riots. It seems they never have a story unless there is a colored person involved. They keep America divided, black or white, and when the trouble starts, they have a field day reporting what — in my opinion — the blacks are up to now. Does color really mean that much in America?

Can’t our reporters live without so much division in their reporting?

Franklin Graham has, or probably still is, visiting every state capital in America and is preaching unity to Americans from the steps of the capitol building of every state. There have been huge turnouts to hear and to support his call to America every place he goes.

That should be followed and reported all over America. It just doesn’t seem the America we know has any right to hear that America should have unity, so it is never reported. This America we love was founded through prayer and the principles of the Bible.

Now I did it — I wrote that word. That word cannot be discussed in our schools: “BIBLE.” I see there is action being started to forbid Army chaplains to preach while in their uniform. Seems we elected a man to the office of president because he promised “CHANGE.”

I liked it better before. —Joe Kaufman, Kalispell
