The Spartan Race is challenging everyone to “Beast It Up” on Fitness Revolution Day. One hundred gyms worldwide will live stream community workouts from select locations.
The Wave Aquatic and Fitness Center in Whitefish will participate in the global workout event at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, to help battle obesity and promote a healthy lifestyle. All fitness levels are welcome and encouraged to attend. Participants will receive a Spartan rally towel when pre-registered by Oct. 9. Space and towels are limited.
Participation is free.
“Our mission is to increase the health and well-being of our community,” Art Krueger, director of The Wave said. We are excited to be one of only 100 facilities worldwide to be bringing such a fun and exciting fitness event to our local community.”
“The beauty of the workout is that it’s tailored to you as an individual, to push yourself at your pace and current fitness level,” said John Sullivan, who is the only Level 2 certified Spartan trainer in Montana. “The goal is to get a group of like-minded individuals together who share a common drive and passion for health and fitness, without having to worry about ‘keeping up.’”
