Tip-A-Cop fundraiser benefits Special Olympics
In an effort to raise awareness and support for Special Olympics Montana, law enforcement will participate in the Tip-A-Cop at MacKenzie River Pizza in Kalispell and Whitefish from 11 a.m. to close Oct. 10. The public is invited to attend and support their local Special Olympics Montana athletes.
Local service providers will work as celebrity waiters and their tips will benefit Special Olympics Montana in their local area and state-wide. Special Olympics is a nonprofit organization that provides year-round sports training and athletic competition to more than 2,000 people with intellectual disabilities in Montana.
Tip-A-Cop is part of the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run campaign, an international series of relay runs and special events represented by more than 85,000 law enforcement officers worldwide to help raise money and public awareness for Special Olympics.
