A teen called the Columbia Falls Police Department to report a clown knocking on her door at her residence on Eighth Street West. She claimed to have seen the clown walking around outside, and thought it was possible the suspect was attempting to break into the house. Officers responded but found no evidence of a break-in, or a clown. They concluded that the report was unfounded.

A Diane Road resident called police with questions about her living situation. She told dispatchers she was having trouble with a roommate who allegedly wouldn’t give her access to a mail key, and she was concerned the same roommate might be stealing her mail (among other things). Officers counseled the caller.

A manager at a business on Ninth Street West called police to report a group of “high school-aged boys” who allegedly stole several pallets.

A teen caller told the Whitefish Police Department that an argument with a relative on Colorado Avenue had resulted in a physical altercation. The caller claimed he was punched twice in the face and thrown to the ground. He said the family member who attacked him also allegedly caused some damage to two doors inside the house.

A caller told police there was a dog running around on Central Avenue with a rope around its neck. The caller said the rope appeared to be loose and was not hurting the animal.

A driver on Reservoir Road called police when a pedestrian allegedly threw a rock at his truck.

Police took several calls from Depot Park about a couple of transients who were allegedly being disruptive and causing problems at an event there. The couple was counseled by officers and told not to return to the area.

Police received a call from a Wisconsin Avenue hotel about noise and possible violence going on in one of the rooms. Officers found it was a wedding party, and the group in question was told to keep the noise down.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to reports of a vehicle fire on Fourth Avenue East North.
