LAW ROUNDUP: Man allegedly thrown on couch, punched
Drinking probably exacerbated a situation on East California Street when someone reported to Kalispell Police Department that a man was “in a woman’s face” over a child custody issue and that another man reportedly grabbed him by the head, threw him onto the couch and punched him.
A man on Fifth Street West told police he was being harassed by his stepmother who allegedly sent a threatening text that read she would “kick his girlfriend’s a-- and won’t be pregnant for long.”
A woman said her daughter was reportedly solicited on the internet by a man asking the 11-year-old to get on a webcam.
A man wanted to talk to an officer regarding his daughter who was allegedly punched in the face by a teen possibly age 13.
A man allegedly smacked a woman’s hand, grabbed her phone and threatened to hit her on Seventh Avenue East. Officers were cautioned the man was a known drug offender and had a history of assault and carrying weapons.
A woman reportedly refused to leave a Treeline Road property after renting a room for 20 minutes despite getting a refund.
Someone was losing sleep over “very bright lights” reportedly shining into his or her bedroom on Trevino Drive.
Someone on Garland Street said a man reportedly ran him or her off the road on Northern Lights Road then a van drove up and a male got out and yelled at the person.
An intoxicated man was spotted walking by a mall entrance on North Main Street and mall security reported kicking the man off the property about 13 times.
An employee on North Meridian Road said a customer came in to look at tires and when he left he lost a full tool box off the back of his truck.
Someone on East Idaho Street reported a verbal disturbance between two men after one of the men’s dog, which was outside on a leash, was allegedly attacked by the other man’s dog.
A man thought he heard someone in his basement on East Center Street, but didn’t see anyone.
A woman was seen standing in the center line of a road and yelling “Hey, hey,” at vehicles going by on Fifth Avenue West and Third Street West. Officers checked the area and reported “all is quiet.”
A vehicle fire was extinguished and westbound lanes were temporarily closed to traffic on Fourth Avenue East North and E Idaho Street.
A man told officers he brought a “bear popper” at a gun show on North Meridian Road, accidentally set it off and was concerned that someone would think he had fired a gun.
