Zinke uniquely qualified to represent state

Everyone is growing tired of the endless campaigning, the untruths, half-truths and outright lies that get told. In all the chaos there are some things that are very obvious as we look at candidates, particularly when you look at the U.S. House of Representatives race in Montna.

One of the scariest things we have facing us today is the terrorist threat. One of the most qualified people to understand, advise and create policy to protect us against that threat is Ryan Zinke. He understands the threats from outside our borders and the implication of those threats here at home. His advice is valued, and his colleagues on both sides of the aisle respect him.

He also understands the needs of Montana. One of the things that seems to be making the most news is the transfer of public lands. Ryan has been emphatic about not supporting the transfer of public lands. We know that he is practical. He does not favor the transfer of public lands, but knows that better management of public lands is critical to the health of our Montana communities. He works tirelessly and with discipline toward that end. He does not support the transfer of public lands, but he also does not support the constant obstruction that has left our public lands dead and dying.

Ryan knows that over-regulation and federal government overreach can destroy us from inside our country. He believes in limited government and can brings common-sense solutions to the table.

There are many diverse issues facing Montana and America. Ryan Zinke is uniquely qualified to address them. —Susan Lake, Ronan
