WEEKEND UPDATE: Agency on Aging open house
The Flathead County Agency on Aging and Kalispell Senior Center’s open house continues today at the new location on the South Campus, 40 11th St. W., Kalispell.
The public is welcome to stop in from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. An NFL football party is also slated for 6:30 p.m. today.
Gateway to Glacier
The Gateway to Glacier Trail is having a grand opening celebration, beginning at noon today on the patio at the Glacier Distillery in Coram.
Refreshments, including cake, coffee and Izze soft drinks will be served. Everyone is welcome.

Western States Constitutional Rights
Western States Constitutional Rights LLC sponsors a program by Attorney Lawrence Kogan and author Elaine Willman titled “Federal and Tribal Takeover of Private Land and Water Rights?” at 7 p.m. today at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 37 First St. W., in Kalispell. Admission is $10 and includes dinner. The event is open to everyone.
Bazaar of the Seasons
Columbia Falls United Methodist Church “Bazaar of the Seasons” will be held from 9 a.m. t o 2 p.m. Saturday.
Cinnamon rolls and coffee will be available from 9 to 11 a.m. for $3. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with soup, rolls, and dessert for $8.
The bazaar will feature quality crafts, a silent auction, bake sale items, attic treasures, books, and Fair Trade items.

Final Kalispell Farmers Market
The Kalispell Farmers Market’s last outdoor market for the year is from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Flathead Valley Community College.
The Harvest and Holiday market will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, in the Expo Building at the Flathead County Fairgrounds.
Spartan workout at Whitefish Wave
The Wave Aquatic and Fitness Center in Whitefish is participating in the Fitness Revolution Day and the Spartan Race “Beast It Up” in the global workout event at 10 a.m. Saturday to help battle obesity and promote a healthy lifestyle. All fitness levels are welcome and encouraged to attend. Participation is free.

Annual Stamp Club show this weekend
The Glacier Stamp Club presents its annual stamp show GLAPEX XXXII this weekend at the Museum at Central School, 124 Second Ave. E., Kalispell.
Everyone is welcome to learn about the hobby of stamp collecting, discuss your hobby with other collectors and renew your collection.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
Admission is free to both the show and the museum
Stamp dealers will buy, sell and trade. Youth can learn about collecting with free stamps, a starter packet and other interesting items. The club membership table will feature this year’s unique local cachet and official cancellation, along with past years’ cachets

Garden work day at Veterans Home
The Montana Veterans Home in Columbia Falls is having Volunteer Garden Work Days this weekend.
Volunteers are needed to join Home Depot employees in building 42 raised garden beds, paved walk ways for wheelchairs and walkers, and corrals for the farm animals for the home’s “Onions for Autism- Veggies for Vets” garden program. Bring work gloves.

Campfire stories at Lone Pine Saturday
Ben Long, author of “Great Montana Bear Stories,” tells stories by the campfire from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Lone Pine State Park picnic area, near Kalispell. On the night of the full moon, Long will talk a bit about what makes a good story, then tell some stories about bears. Fundraising bicycle ride in West Glacier
A bicycle ride to raise funds for prominent Ohio cyclist Shelli Snyder is planned for 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
Riders will gather in West Glacier at the Alberta Visitors Center and ride either along the new bike path toward Hungry Horse or into Glacier National Park toward Logan Pass.
At 4:30 p.m. participants will gather at the Belton-Stage/U.S. 2 intersection for a moment of prayer. Funds go to Snyder’s “gofundme” site. Contact pcmwccc@hotmail.com.
