Do you think it's OK?
Our country is at a very dangerous crossroad during the election in November. Some of our citizens think it’s OK to support a presidential candidate who:
— Is a billionaire who pays no taxes and brags because he is smart.
— Refuses to release his tax records like every other presidential candidate has done.
— Avoided serving in the military for fake health reasons.
— Insults women as being inferior and sex objects.
— Cheats students out of paid tuition, Trump University.
— Cheats workers and contractors out of payment for services by declaring bankruptcy.
— Has five children with three different wives and numerous mistresses.
— Stretches the truth and lies in public appearances.
— States that our military is weak and our generals are “reduced to rubble.”
— States as president he will spend tens of billions of dollars to boost military spending.
— Thinks Putin is a great leader.
— Grotesquely mimics handicapped reporter.
— Insults parents of a soldier killed in Iraq.
— Implies that one-time prisoner-of-war Sen. John McCain is a loser.
— Calls a winner of one of his beauty contests a fat pig.
— Is unable to control his temper and seeks revenge.
— Contributes to his foundation and uses his contribution for his own purposes to avoid taxes.
— Believes climate change is a “hoax” created by the Chinese.
— Tells us that he is the only person who can make America great again.
Inflated ego, lying and self-interest are his greatest personal traits. Certainly these facts and traits disqualify him from being president of the United States of America. My dear old dad was a staunch Republican and faithful to his party. The Republican Party members were honorable men and women during that time with high standards and morals. I cannot imagine how he would react to the nomination of Donald Trump to be the party leader. We will certainly lose our culture and heritage if this man is elected president. —Jerry Reckin, Kalispell
