Park bathroom charred in Sunday fire

Burning trash is believed to be the cause of a Sunday night fire that lit up a building near the Lawrence Park playground.
According to Flathead County dispatch, a passerby reported the park’s bathroom building was on fire around 8 p.m. The caller didn’t report seeing anyone nearby that may have started the fire.
Kalispell firefighters responded and the blaze was reportedly extinguished about 10 minutes after the initial call.
