LETTER: Election is referendum on global agenda
Did you happen to notice these amazing words from Barack Obama in his parting words to the UN (Sept 21 Inter Lake) where he called “for a ‘course correction’ to ensure the unstoppable forces of globalization don’t lead nations to entrench behind their borders ...”? Do you know about “globalization” and that it is “unstoppable”? If not, you should — because this is one of the core issues of our presidential election; and if it continues it means the end of America as we know it.
This huge political philosophy, started and nurtured by the Ivy League schools of the Northeast, wants the elimination of the concept of countries in favor of an international system of finance and laws. They want a world free from nationalism and all borders, controlled by an entity like the United Nations. The main obstacle to their ultimate goal is the United States, its Constitution and, collaterally, Christians.
Did you ever wonder why the progressives don’t want a southern border, why they are attacking the foundation of our Constitution, why they are against states’ rights, why they have put in place global trade agreements detrimental to our country and our workers and why they support Agenda 21 (now 30)? Globalism.
Our schools now teach history that denigrates America because people who are not proud of their country’s past are more willing to give it up. Finally, it is the true cause of the hoax of man-caused global warming foisted on the public to compel our politicians to sign international agreements that will supersede even our own Constitution.
Every president since Reagan has bought into this catastrophe — George H.W. Bush, Clinton, G.W. Bush, and, of course, Obama. Ever wonder why Trump is attacked so vehemently even by the Republican establishment? It’s because he has taken a stance which would turn back the clock on globalization, angering lots of very powerful people and entities. Hillary, in contrast, is a full supporter of globalization, long ago selling her soul to this philosophy and the power brokers who are intent on implementing it.
Globalization is one of the profound issues embodied in our presidential election. It is frightening and very, very dangerous. Yet it is hidden beneath of the surface of political rhetoric bubbling silently while many sleep. Be alert, be aware, be cautious, be informed, but most of all be prepared. And when you vote, make certain you understand that this concept, if implemented, will be the most dramatic change in the history of our country. Your vote matters. —Mark Agather, Kalispell
