No one seriously hurt in collision

Kalispell Police found that no one was seriously injured after a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Fifth Street West and First Avenue West. 

Officers were unable to locate a man on Second Street West, who neighbors said was standing on his porch, drunkenly yelling at people. 

A person on Fifth Avenue West reported that a television, cash, coins, and a gun had been stolen from a home basement that was locked. 

A dispatcher was confused by a rambling caller who said a “bad guy” was allegedly raping girls in Kalispell and then talked about bad things that were happening in Lakeside. The caller also referenced a stolen cell phone, said that she was being chased and would report the incidents to the federal government. An officer was given a number to call to investigate, but it did not work. 

Someone reportedly had compound fractures after a black Suburban and black Cobalt collided on Third Avenue East North. 

A man traveling in a motor home on North Meridian Road did not want to press charges, but did want a boy and his mother counseled after the boy allegedly threw objects at the passing motor home. The boy’s mother reportedly screamed at the man. 

A person was united with his or her wallet after a man found it full of cash, outside a banking machine and decided to do the right thing and turn it in. 

No one was injured in a t-bone accident on North Main Street, but the vehicles involved were not drivable and had to be towed away. 

Someone on U.S. 2 turned in some credit cards and a driver’s license that had been found lying around, without an owner

Whitefish Police told a man to warn police in Georgia about a possible Craigslist scam. The local man had not been taken advantage of, but had been able to get a possible address in Atlanta that the alleged scammer was using. 

Columbia Falls Police took a report from Drift Water Way where someone had opened two bags of mulch and dumped it onto someone’s porch in an apparent act of vandalism.
