Concert benefits Sparrow’s Nest
St. Matthew’s musicians are hosting a concert, “A Community in Harmony,” on Sunday, Oct. 30, at 4 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Kalispell.
The concert will feature St. Mattthew’s various choirs, including the adult, teen and children’s choirs. In addition to the choirs, the concert will feature several vocal soloists and instrumentalists playing violin, flute and piano selections.
This concert is a fundraiser for the Sparrow’s Nest of Northwest Montana, an emerging organization in Flathead County working with the community to ensure the unaccompanied homeless high school students have a safe place to sleep at night.
“Come join us for a wonderful afternoon of beautiful, fun and inspiring music by our talented musicians,” said Karen Weaver, music director at St. Matthew’s. “It is a chance for us to perform and for such a worthy cause. All are welcome.”
A free-will offering will be taken at the end of the concert.
