LETTER: Developer should be more respectful of his neighbors
I opened the Daily Inter Lake recently to read very insulting comments in an article regarding our homes near the proposed Airport Road apartment complex. The developer referred to our homes and yards as unfit and our homes needed bulldozing. I invite him to visit our home, our yard and speak to us.
I was born in Kalispell almost 79 years ago. I have lived here my whole life. My great-grandfather was the sheriff of the Territory of Montana. Due to my two open-heart surgeries and 11 stents, we had to downsize to a single-level home. Through God’s grace we landed in Coot Court with privacy, good neighbors and a beautiful view. Some of our neighbors are single women working hard to live, and others are older than us so they do their best, but do not force their lifestyle on others. I do not resent progress, but do want this man to truly be compatible to the neighborhood and not insult us.
May God bless this nation and valley. —Lenora Hadley, Kalispell
