LAW ROUNDUP: Man worries about alleged drug deals near home

Kalispell Police sent an officer to 11th Street East where someone said a known marijuana dealer was allegedly parked on the street selling drugs. The caller said he had no proof of the alleged dealing.

Parties were able to peacefully exchange information at a fender bender on U.S. 93, where someone complained that someone had side-swiped his or her vehicle. The caller said the person originally denied the incident, even though it was caught on camera.

A gas station reported someone drove off without paying $22 for gas. The suspect realized the mistake and returned a short time later.

A pawn shop called to report that someone wanted for pawning items had come into the store. An officer arrived after the woman had left, but was able to get a vehicle description.

A man on Fifth Avenue East complained about loud music and cursing that could be heard from his neighbor’s home. An officer investigated and found all was quiet.

Someone called to report that her friend had allegedly been thrown across the room by the friend’s fiancé. The woman was supposed to come to the police station to file a report, but never showed up.

Someone reported that two or three men were fighting in the street at Greatview Road. No one was jailed.

A woman on Glenwood Drive reported that she had three tires slashed and windows to her vehicle broken in. The woman said she had heard three bangs at 5:35 a.m., but did not realize until she saw the damage that it was windows being broken in.

Around 30 tires were stolen from a location on North Meridian Road.

A panhandler on Treeline Road was counseled after people complained that he was allegedly swearing and being belligerent toward passersby.

Whitefish Police Department counseled a man on U.S. 93 about his legal options after he allegedly was aggressively charged by another man a day earlier.

A woman on Whitefish Hills Drive was told that her issue seemed to be a civil one after she called unhappy with how a seller had represented a car to her granddaughter, who bought the vehicle.

A motorized bicycle was reported stolen from East First Street.

Someone reported that two men were allegedly carrying an unconscious woman from a bar. The reporting party was worried that all individuals involved might be a little too drunk to drive. Officers were unable to locate a suspect vehicle.

An officer found that a man on Edgewood Place was OK after someone reported that he appeared to be so drunk that he had fallen down while walking along the roadway.

Columbia Falls Police responded to Twelfth Avenue West, where a man reported that he and his wife had been drinking and that his daughter and her boyfriend might be on drugs. The mother, daughter and boyfriend had all allegedly gotten into a physical altercation. The daughter and boyfriend were given a ride away from the location.

Someone on Third Avenue East reported that his or her home had been egged twice on one night. An officer performed extra patrol in the area.
