LETTER: Stop Trump; vet the refugees; restrict trapping
For those of you who do not read newspapers, or follow the news on TV, in order to educate yourselves and become informed voters, please do not vote for Donald Trump.
He is much more than psychologically dysfunctional. He is mentally ill and will destroy our United States of America. It is far better to vote for Hillary Clinton. I met and spoke with her, and the Republican Trumped-up partisan political allegations against her are false according to fact checkers. I had a Top Secret DOD Security Clearance and understand that she did nothing wrong.
For those of you who are women, I ask: Why aren’t you all voting for a woman to be president of the United States instead of a misogynistic man who openly denigrates women? Here is your chance to fulfill the Equal Rights Amendment you all fought so hard for, and I supported. It is your time.
For those of you who fear allowing immigration of various Arabic/Muslim/Islamic peoples into Montana, I would substantiate that your fears are well-founded. These are peoples who persecute all who are different from them, are abominable to women, and even cut peoples’ heads off. For once, I agree with our esteemed editor, Frank Miele, in his many newspaper columns on these subjects. Heed his warnings on this topic.
There is no way possible to successfully vet these nomadic peoples, with no recorded history, before allowing them to enter our country. I was born in America, as were my parents, with a complete and thorough recorded history, but it took our federal government the standard 18 months to vet me for my security clearances.
For those of you, like me, who love animals, please vote for I-177 to end the insane cruelty of trapping them for their fur on our public lands which we all own together as citizens of the United States of America. There are some people, trappers, who still retain the DNA of the early Neanderthal cavemen and have not mentally evolved like us normal people. Do not let them destroy our beloved wildlife that we share the planet Earth with.
For those of you who merely automatically vote for a particular political party, quit doing that! Rather, engage your brains and learn about the individual issues and the candidates and be smart enough to cast your vote so that it will benefit you and all the rest of us too, including the animals.
Many years ago I became politically independent so I am no longer encumbered by political party prejudices. America is failing because you are not doing that also. —Bill Baum, Martin City
