MWED to host energy workshop

The U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development division, along with the Montana Department of Environmental Quality and Montana West Economic Development will host a free, one-day workshop. The event will include presentations on the USDA Rural Energy for America grant and loan program and the Montana DEQ Renewable Energy Program by a lineup of comprehensive speakers from the energy efficiency and renewable energy industry in Montana.

Detailed presentations and panels will address funding options, energy efficient projects, renewable energy technologies and updates, energy in manufacturing and application assistance for producers.

Speakers will take time for questions and one-on-one consultations.

The event is set for 8:30 a.m. and runs through 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 3 at Montana West Economic Development; lunch will be provided.
