On Tuesday, Nov. 1, the University of Montana Biological Station and the Flathead Lakers will host UM ecologist Erick Greene during their monthly Science on Tap presentation at Flathead Lake Brewing Co.

Greene is an ecologist working with the Montana Osprey Project. His research interests include behavioral ecology, evolutionary biology and conservation biology, and he has studied birds, spiders, flies, caterpillars and plants.

Greene is particularly interested in behavioral ecology, studying how organisms interact with each other and with their environment. He will discuss what ospreys can tell us about the health of aquatic ecosystems.

The brewery will donate $1 from every pint of beer sold from 5 to 8 p.m. The presentation begins at 6 p.m., and no science background is required to enjoy this evening.

The Flathead Lake Brewing Co. Pubhouse is located at 116 Holt Drive, Bigfork.
