GOLF: Glacier girls 5th after first day in Butte

BUTTE — Flathead and Glacier are in the middle of the pack in the team standings at the Butte Invitational golf tournament.

The Glacier boys are six and Flathead is eighth after Thursday’s play at Fairmont Golf Course.

The Glacier girls are holding down fifth place.

The Flathead girls did not post a team score.

Neither team had an individual in the top 10.

The Great Falls boys and Bozeman girls were the first-day leaders.

Play winds up Friday.
