Mary Eva (Largent) Bray, 80

| September 1, 2016 7:00 AM

Mary Eva (Largent) Bray, 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on Aug. 25, 2016, from a cerebral hemorrhage.

She grew up in the Moiese Valley, the daughter of Roy and Margaret Largent. Eva graduated from Charlo High School in 1953.

She married Lloyd (Darrell) Bray in 1954, and later moved to Helena where she received her teaching degree. They spent many years in Lincoln and had many adventures in their 46-year marriage — most of them centered around Dad’s fishing addiction and the snowmobile trails of Montana.

They returned to Polson in 1980.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd in 2000, and by her brothers Louis, Bill, Fred and Johnny Largent.

In 2009 she opened her mailbox to find a letter that would begin a new chapter in her life. She married Nick (Harold) Wood in 2010, and would tell you every time you saw her how lucky she was to have him in her life!

She is survived by her husband Nick Wood, her daughter Marci (Tom) Barron, her grandchildren Kate and Ethan Tilleman, and her brother Gene Largent. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law Kay Largent and her “Old Dearies” who were always there for laughter and support.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
