Knife threat: mistaken identity?

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office took a report from a woman who said that she was at a gas station in Coram when three men approached her. The woman said one of the men held a knife to her throat and told her that her family should stay away from the men’s project. The woman thought she might have been the victim of mistaken identity because the man called her by a name that was not hers.

A woman in Hungry Horse reported that she tried to meet some people to retrieve a stolen dog and that one of the six people had pulled out a gun during the encounter and threatened to kill her.

A deputy found that a person did not want to pursue charges after a neighbor allegedly came over, knocked on the door and then relieved himself in the lilac bushes at a home on Grove Street in Columbia Falls. The man was last seen near a flower shop.

A social worker called from a hospital in Missoula to have a deputy warn a woman that a man admitted to the hospital with mental health problems had threatened to kill the woman. The woman said she would get a no-contact order.

A 10-year-old girl was bitten by a dog on Ridgewood Drive. The girl was taken to the hospital for treatment.

A woman reported that a registered sex offender had allegedly asked her son’s friend to meet him at the soccer fields at night.

A deputy found that there was a road rage incident where someone threatened another individual for sitting at a red light too long at an intersection near Lake Blaine Road. The suspects did admit to being “fired up,” but said that they had not pointed a gun at the person at the red light as the person had reported.

A woman called to report that her ex-husband, a deported felon, might try to illegally cross the border through Glacier National Park. Dispatch suspected the woman might have called before, and might have mental health issues, although she used a different name.

Whitefish Police found that a man was OK after someone called from a business where he purchased some items and spent a lot of time in the bathroom cleaning up. A worker thought the man was suspicious.

Columbia Falls Police advised county authorities that a woman had turned herself in. She was wanted on a felony warrant for allegedly driving drunk with children in the vehicle and crashing into another motorist.

Kalispell Police took a report from a woman who said her husband had texted her 50 times, called her more than 20 times on her cellphone and called her workplace 30 times. The woman was in the process of divorcing the man and getting a no-contact order against him.

Two syringes were found in a parking lot off U.S. 2. The items were collected and disposed of.

A woman reported that she had posted a room for rent on Craigslist and had received explicit email responses to the ad. The woman did not want to pursue charges, but did want law enforcement to know about the emails.
