LETTER: Help victims of La. flooding

| September 2, 2016 4:58 PM

So sorry about those fishes in the Yellowstone. May I ask what about the thousands, thousands, thousands of people who lost so very much in Louisiana in the worst flood in five hundred years in their state? There are thousands, thousands, thousands who lost their homes. Everything they own. Some had to get out without even shoes on their feet. What about them? What about those who lost their lives? Some may never recover from this 500-year worst flood in Louisiana.

There is hope. There are fellows who are sending things to help them now if you want to help them. They have set up a flood relief center with the help of the Red Cross down there. You can send it to: Jimmy Swaggart, Flood Relief Effort, 8919 World Ministry Ave., Baton Rouge, LA 70810.

Be sure you mark whatever you send “Flood Relief Effort.”

You can see what I mean. Watch SBC. —Geraldine T. Whitson, Kalispell
