VOLLEYBALL: Glacier splits with Idaho schools; Ronan edges Stillwater

Glacier split in nonconference volleyball action on Friday afternoon with two visiting schools from Idaho.

The Wolfpack defeated Lakeland High School 25-15, 25-20, 25-23.

Post Falls then beat Glacier in a close, back and forth affair, 22-25, 25-21, 22-25, 25-17, 18-16.

“It was a good day, an interesting day,” Glacier coach Christy Harkins said.

“We played three courts all at once — freshmen, JV and varsity. The girls did well adapting to that.”

Nikki Krueger led Glacier in kills in both contests with 12 and 14.

Kali Gulick had six and seven blocks in the outings.

“We played two aggressive teams,” Harkins said.

“We held our own.”

Glacier’s next action is Thursday in Great Falls versus Billings West.

RONAN — Lee Camel had 15 kills and four blocks to help Ronan slip past Stillwater Christian School 25-17, 23-25, 16-25, 25-18, 15-12 on Thursday evening in a nonconference matchup.
