Football roundup: Emslie, Farrier help Bigfork top Conrad

BIGFORK — Augie Emslie had a pair of touchdown passes and Matt Farrier scored on runs of 5 and 36 yards as Bigfork (3-0 overall) held on to beat Conrad 28-26 on Friday evening in a Class B nonconference football game.

Conrad (1-1) scored with eight minutes to play to get within two, but missed a field goal as time expired.

Emslie was 10 of 20 passing for 192 yards. Farrier rolled up 160 yards rushing on 26 attempts for a 6.2-yard per carry average.

Anders Epperly had four receptions for 94 yards and a TD. Logan Taylor had five catches for 86 yards and a touchdown.

Conrad quarterback Bert Paulsen was 17 of 34 passing for three touchdowns. He was intercepted once.

Conrad had 355 yards of total offense to 352 for Bigfork.

MISSOULA —Quarterback Aaron White ran for a touchdown and passed for two more as Shelby knocked off Eureka (2-1) in a Class B matchup at Washington-Grizzly Stadium.

White was 10 of 20 passing for 187 yards. He hit Andrew Johnson and David Kelleher on TD strikes of 68 and 28 yards.

Cannan Smith ran for two scores, 1 and 36 yards, for Eureka. He had 21 carries for 143 yards.

Eureka quarterback Garret Graves was 12 of 22 passing for 174 yards. He passed 18 yards to Jacob Nowakowski for the final TD of the game.

Shelby’s Zach Torgerson had 25 carries for 157 yards and a touchdown.

Shelby outgained Eureka 408-167.
