Two days of threats for Kila woman
A Flathead County Sheriff’s deputy gave a woman in Kila advice about how to proceed after she reported that someone had almost bit her finger off and had grabbed her throat. The woman allegedly had a gun pointed in her face by the same person a day before.
A woman in West Glacier was told that she needed to pursue her options through the civil legal process after she was allegedly upset that contractors hired to do work on her house left it in a state of disarray “like a bomb went off.” The woman wanted to get her home fixed before winter.
A business reported that an employee had allegedly written some unauthorized checks. A deputy was sent to investigate.
A woman reported that the valve stems of 11 tires on vehicles and trailers had been broken off. The woman had a suspect in mind.
A person on Krause Lane reported that two mutt puppies had been stolen from their home.
After it was hit by a vehicle on U.S. 2, a baby black bear was pulled off the roadway by a passer-by. The caller did not want anyone to come by and chop its paws off. The bear was retrieved by law enforcement.
Smith Valley Fire Department responded to 81 Crossbow Trail for a fire in a shop that possibly contained black powder and propane.
West Valley Fire Department was sent to the scene of a grass fire across the road from a cross-country meet at Rebecca Farm. The fire was extinguished quickly.
Kalispell Police counseled a woman on First Street West who was concerned that her maintenance man might have given a key to another man who allegedly drugged her.
At least one woman was injured and lost consciousness in a three-vehicle, T-bone crash at Northridge Drive and Commons Way. One person was trapped in a vehicle during the crash.
The ALERT helicopter was sent to the Stoney Indian Pass area of Glacier National Park to retrieve a hiker who had suffered hypothermia.
