Moving Forward Adaptive Sports will hold a fundraiser from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, at the Hilton Homewood Suites in Kalispell. Bee Broadcasting radio personality Leah Lindsay will emcee the event; the guest speaker is Starla Hilliard Barnes, a paraplegic who founded the adaptive sports foundation.

Michael Noe, owner of Complete Nutrition, has helped organize the fundraiser. Great Northern Catering Co. will cater the event with drinks by the Tamarack

Guthrie Quist and Nick Spear are among the local musicians who will perform. There will be special guests throughout the night and raffle items.

Tickets are $10 at the door and children under 12 are admitted for free. A special children’s area will keep the young ones entertained.

Money raised will help Moving Forward buy adaptive sports equipment for differently abled athletes and a portion of the proceeds will be set aside for construction of an inclusive playground in Kalispell.
