LETTER: Hard times and something to believe in

I believe this to be self-evident. Genesis 1:1: “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” Also, that the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights were based on biblical principles. It should not evolve into a more progressive foundation, continually changing into more relativism per each passing fad.

While this year has left many of us with choices that seem bewildering, I draw solace each day by spending time in reading the Bible. One of the most comforting passages is Exodus 14:14: “The Lord will fight for you. Just be still.” —Ann Fey, Whitefish
