Iva Dean McQueen, 68

Iva Dean McQueen, 68, of Polson, passed away Monday, Sept. 12, 2016, in Polson of cancer.

Iva Dean was born in Polson on June 13, 1948, to parents Tena Kenneth Newby and Iva Lee (Newby) Nunnally.

Iva Dean shared her early life with her three sisters, Mary Jane Barrett of Kalispell, Mayme Hardie of Missoula and Christine Smalley Cheyenne Wells of Colorado; one brother, Nathan A. Nunally of Missoula; and many nieces and nephews.

Iva Dean is survived by two daughters, Dianne O’Connor Weston of Massachusetts and Lisa Clay of Casper, Wyoming, and 10 grandchildren.

Her children, family and friends remember her for her love of gardening and fishing.

Iva Dean has been cremated at her request and a small private service was held with family. She will be laid to rest next to her mother and father at Lakeview Cemetery in Polson.
