Whitefish boys edge Stillwater in soccer

WHITEFISH — Late goals by Ian Lacey and Cody Brandt gave Whitefish (4-6 overall) a 3-2 boys nonconference soccer victory over Stillwater Christian School on Friday afternoon.

“It was our second game in 24 hours,” Whitefish coach John Lacey said.

“We had a tough one in Columbia Falls last night. Today, it was good to get back on track, Columbia Falls took a lot out of us. It was a good effort by the boys (versus Stillwater).”

Isaac Neumann and Zac King scored for Stillwater.

Xander Burger had the other goal for Whitefish.
